## The honest read

Patios, walkways and Belgium block edging are the work Shaq's Masonry is hired for. A 2026 customer said plain mulched garden areas were outlined in Belgium block, a patio and walkways were laid in pavers, and Shaq suggested lighting around the patio perimeter and along the stairs. That customer said Shaq worked alongside his crew, did not try to upsell, and finished in less time than expected.

A 2023 customer said the old patio was removed completely and a new one built, with a drainage system and a wall, in a matter of days. A 2022 customer said Shaq evened out the dirt for a patio instead of building a wall, which saved them money. A 2025 customer said the crew left the work area spotless.

The company says it has been in business for 10 years. It holds an A+ grade from the Better Business Bureau and 5 stars from 9 Google ratings.

Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0640011, as active, held by Shaq's Masonry LLC.

- A full patio rebuild — a 2023 customer said it was done in days
