## The honest read

Sheehan Tree Removal holds 5 stars from 28 Google ratings. A recent customer says the estimate was easy and fair, the job was scheduled quickly, and they would hire the company again. A 2023 customer described Jimmy and Maria as the owner operators of the family-run company, and said Jimmy, Tommy and crew safely took down a large 70 ft spruce that was very close to power lines. The company's website says it runs safety checks on all its equipment and holds safety meetings before every job, and it advertises free estimates and 24/7 emergency service.

A 2024 reviewer said Jimmy, on a visit a few years earlier to cut down a dying tree next to the road, encouraged a call to the town first to have it cut down, saving the customer money. On the later job in that 2024 review, he cut down several trees, leaving very short stumps and removing the trunks, the limbs and even the saw dust. A 2025 customer said Jim and his crew cleared a building lot, at a price the customer called reasonable compared to other local companies.

A 2022 customer said the company took down a large black walnut tree and removed overgrowth around the entire yard of a new home, and that Jimmy took great care to ensure surrounding plants were not damaged. A 2022 reviewer said Jimmy and his crew brought down a couple of large dead trees on a heavily wooded hill behind the in-laws' house. A 2021 reviewer said Jimmy and his crew removed over a dozen trees from the property, using a lift for some and climbing others. A 2021 customer said Jimmy Sheehan and his crew removed a Norway maple from the yard, and wrote of the clean up that "It looks like they were never here."

**Strengths:**
- Spruce near power lines — a 2023 customer said it came down safely
- Lot clearing — a 2025 customer said Jim and his crew cleared a building lot
- A fair estimate — a recent customer says it was easy and fair
- A thorough cleanup — a 2024 reviewer said even the saw dust was removed
