The clearest independent picture of the work comes from town building permits: 29 filed between 2010 and 2023, mostly in Westford, covering sunroom rebuilds, window replacements, decks, kitchen gut remodels, siding, and a garage-with-family-room addition permitted at just over $224,000. BuildZoom's own scoring, built from that permit and licensing history, puts the company at 91 out of 100 (63rd percentile among contractors it tracks). Worth knowing before calling: permit activity has slowed sharply — only one town permit has been filed in the past three years, against 28 in the prior decade-plus. Shestok Bros. is worth a call for a Westford-area remodel — a kitchen, bathroom, deck, or addition. Given the recent lull in permitted work, ask directly about current projects, availability, and recent references before committing. **Strengths:** - Decades in Westford — self-reports operating since 1998 - Broad permit history — decks, additions, kitchens and siding since 2010 - Solid BuildZoom score — 91/100, 63rd percentile among tracked contractors **Concerns:** - Permit activity — only one town permit filed in the past three years ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Self-reports operating in Westford since 1998, led by owner Todd Shestok _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://www.shesbros.com) — “Company history (self-reported): The site says the company was established in 1998.” - [Official Website](https://www.shesbros.com) — “Ownership (self-reported): Locally-owned and operated; the site names Todd Shestok as leading the team” - BuildZoom scores the company 91/100 (63rd percentile) from permit and licensing history _(confidence: medium)_ - [BuildZoom](https://www.buildzoom.com/contractor/shestok-bros-inc) — “An unclaimed BuildZoom profile for Shestok Bros Inc of 27 West Prescott Street, Westford MA, carrying a BuildZoom score of 91 (63rd percenti…” - Town permits show 29 projects from 2010-2023: sunrooms, windows, decks, kitchen remodels, siding, and a $224,362 garage addition _(confidence: high)_ - [BuildZoom](https://www.buildzoom.com/contractor/shestok-bros-inc) — “An unclaimed BuildZoom profile for Shestok Bros Inc of 27 West Prescott Street, Westford MA, carrying a BuildZoom score of 91 (63rd percenti…” - Permit filings have slowed sharply — only one in the past three years _(confidence: high)_ - [BuildZoom](https://www.buildzoom.com/contractor/shestok-bros-inc) — “An unclaimed BuildZoom profile for Shestok Bros Inc of 27 West Prescott Street, Westford MA, carrying a BuildZoom score of 91 (63rd percenti…” - BuildZoom's profile displays a Verified License badge for the company _(confidence: low)_ - [BuildZoom](https://www.buildzoom.com/contractor/shestok-bros-inc) — “An unclaimed BuildZoom profile for Shestok Bros Inc of 27 West Prescott Street, Westford MA, carrying a BuildZoom score of 91 (63rd percenti…” - Kitchen remodels and home additions _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://www.shesbros.com) — “A Westford, MA home remodeling contractor offering kitchen and bathroom renovations, decks, porches, sunrooms, windows, siding, painting and…” - [BuildZoom](https://www.buildzoom.com/contractor/shestok-bros-inc) — “An unclaimed BuildZoom profile for Shestok Bros Inc of 27 West Prescott Street, Westford MA, carrying a BuildZoom score of 91 (63rd percenti…” - Decks, sunrooms and window/siding replacement _(confidence: medium)_ - [BuildZoom](https://www.buildzoom.com/contractor/shestok-bros-inc) — “An unclaimed BuildZoom profile for Shestok Bros Inc of 27 West Prescott Street, Westford MA, carrying a BuildZoom score of 91 (63rd percenti…” - Specializes in General Contractor / Remodeling _(confidence: high)_ - [Official Website](https://www.shesbros.com) — “A Westford, MA home remodeling contractor offering kitchen and bathroom renovations, decks, porches, sunrooms, windows, siding, painting and…” - [BuildZoom](https://www.buildzoom.com/contractor/shestok-bros-inc) — “An unclaimed BuildZoom profile for Shestok Bros Inc of 27 West Prescott Street, Westford MA, carrying a BuildZoom score of 91 (63rd percenti…” - Also offers Kitchen Remodel _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://www.shesbros.com) — “A Westford, MA home remodeling contractor offering kitchen and bathroom renovations, decks, porches, sunrooms, windows, siding, painting and…” - [BuildZoom](https://www.buildzoom.com/contractor/shestok-bros-inc) — “An unclaimed BuildZoom profile for Shestok Bros Inc of 27 West Prescott Street, Westford MA, carrying a BuildZoom score of 91 (63rd percenti…” - Also offers Bathroom Remodel _(confidence: low)_ - [Official Website](https://www.shesbros.com) — “A Westford, MA home remodeling contractor offering kitchen and bathroom renovations, decks, porches, sunrooms, windows, siding, painting and…” - Also offers Windows / Siding / Gutters _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://www.shesbros.com) — “A Westford, MA home remodeling contractor offering kitchen and bathroom renovations, decks, porches, sunrooms, windows, siding, painting and…” - [BuildZoom](https://www.buildzoom.com/contractor/shestok-bros-inc) — “An unclaimed BuildZoom profile for Shestok Bros Inc of 27 West Prescott Street, Westford MA, carrying a BuildZoom score of 91 (63rd percenti…” ## License Status: **not_found** — verified against the official MA state registry, never self-reported.
