## The honest read

A driveway with ruts and gouges that flooded after storms and snow melt is now smooth, a recent Google customer wrote of Simpson Site Services' grading work.

The company's website lists new driveway installation and grading, drainage and water-runoff work, land clearing, site preparation for sheds, garages and additions, and general excavation. It names a service area of Pittsfield, Epsom, Chichester, Barnstead, Concord, Loudon, Hooksett, Bow, Pembroke and Northwood, and says it has been in business for six years. It holds 5 stars from 8 Google ratings and 4.0 stars from 5 Angi ratings.

A 2025 customer said Ryan gave a fair quote on a backyard of two half-fallen dead trees, overgrowth and vines, then delivered exactly what he walked through a few days later, with almost 3 tonnes of debris removed. A 2025 Google reviewer called the company their go-to landscaping company in Southern New Hampshire for the past four years, for mowing, trimming and cleanups. A 2024 customer said Ryan took over mowing their lawn toward the end of summer, then did a fall cleanup that left the lawn leaf and pine needle free in a few hours, mulch beds included. A 2025 customer said the company delivered what was promised and called the pricing fair.

A 2020 Angi customer who needed lawn restoration after septic work said Ryan showed up on time, did a thorough inspection and presented a fair and reasonable price without trying to upsell.

A 2020 Angi reviewer of a landscape installation job wrote that he "misrepresented himself" and did not have the expertise, staffing or machinery to perform any services beyond mowing lawns.

**Strengths:**
- Driveway grading — a recent customer said a flooding, rutted driveway is now smooth
- Backyard clearing — a 2025 customer said almost 3 tonnes of debris were removed
- A fall cleanup — a 2024 customer said the lawn was leaf-free in a few hours

**Concerns:**
- Work beyond mowing — a 2020 Angi reviewer said he lacked staffing and machinery
