# Kitchen Tune-Up Stoneham, MA **Trade:** Kitchen Remodel · **Address:** 200 Main St Suite 365, Stoneham, MA 02180 · **Phone:** (781) 224-1220 · **Website:** https://kitchentuneup-stonehamma.com/ · **Languages:** English **Rating: 3.0/5** (low confidence) — from 1 reviews across 4 sources. ## The honest read Kitchen Tune-Up is listed at 200 Main Street, Suite 365 in Stoneham, Massachusetts, where BBB describes SLB Kitchens, LLC as its operating entity and reports 23 years in business. The company focuses on kitchen updates including cabinet refacing, wood cabinet restoration, custom cabinetry, countertops, and organizers. A 2022 Angi homeowner review describes a project that expanded from cabinet refacing to a new floor, countertops, sink, faucet, and appliances, and praises the measuring visit and communication about timing. That is one dated review, so it offers a specific account but a limited recent track record. Before booking, confirm the current licensing position and the contracting entity. BBB lists an A+ grade but no accreditation, while state-registry evidence marks MA HIC license 140316 expired and BuildZoom lists HIC #103138 inactive. The company is a reasonable fit for cabinet-focused kitchen updates; ask which license and entity will appear on the contract and verify the scope, schedule, and permits. **Strengths:** - Cabinet refacing — explicitly listed by BBB and described in a homeowner review - Custom cabinetry — listed among the company’s services - Project expansion — one reviewer described flooring, countertops, fixtures, and appliances **Concerns:** - License status — state and directory records show expired or inactive HIC licenses - Review depth — the available dated review is from 2022 **Where sources disagree:** - BBB reports 23 years in business, while BuildZoom reports 8 years active for SLB Kitchens LLC; the entities and timeframes differ. - BBB has an A+ grade, while state-registry and BuildZoom records show expired or inactive license statuses. ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Kitchen updates include cabinet refacing, wood cabinet restoration, custom cabinetry, countertops, and organizers. _(confidence: high)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ma/stoneham/profile/cabinets/kitchen-tune-up-0021-98436/addressId/345596) — “Services offered (Better Business Bureau): cabinet refacing, wood cabinet restoration, custom cabinetry, counter tops, organizers” - BBB lists the Stoneham profile as an A+ business with 23 years in business and no BBB accreditation. _(confidence: high)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ma/stoneham/profile/cabinets/kitchen-tune-up-0021-98436/addressId/345596) — “Better Business Bureau grade: A+” - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ma/stoneham/profile/cabinets/kitchen-tune-up-0021-98436/addressId/345596) — “BBB lists Kitchen Tune-Up at 200 Main Street, Suite 365, Stoneham, MA as not accredited, with an A+ rating and 23 years in business; it desc…” - A 2022 homeowner described cabinet refacing that expanded to floors, countertops, plumbing fixtures, and appliances, with helpful timing communication. _(confidence: medium)_ - [Angi](https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ma/stoneham/cabinet-refinishing.htm?page=5) — “5★ I hired Bob and Devin to do what initially started out as just cabinet refacing.
