## The honest read

Smiths Lawn LLP is a lawn-care company that says it has been in business for 30 years, and it describes its mission as reducing pesticide usage. On Google it holds 4.8 stars from 36 ratings.

A customer of four years says they have built up a much healthier, thicker lawn, and that their monthly applications have kept it weed-free even when surrounded by dandelion-heavy properties. That customer also says they are quick to respond to calls or texts about a problem. A customer of more than a decade says annual proposals are sent on time, service is delivered on time and the cost is competitive. One customer says they have been with Smith for about 15 years. A customer says several neighbors have asked who does their yard.

A 2025 customer singled out Danny, one of the partners, and said they were always there to help when a question or concern came up. A 2022 customer wrote that the lawn takes about two years if you don't water as they ask, and called it well worth it. A 2022 customer gave three stars and said they were disappointed with the results.

**Strengths:**

- Long-time clients — customers of about 15 years and over a decade
- Timely annual proposal — a decade-long customer says service arrives on time

**Concerns:**
- Disappointing results — a 2022 customer gave three stars
