One recent customer said the company started with a FaceTime call in which they went through every square inch of the house, so the company could plan how to pack the mirrors, lamps and bulky items and develop an accurate estimate. That customer said the movers put on dance music while they worked. A recent customer said the company gave the best estimate of any they consulted, then saved them more off that estimate on moving day because the job finished ahead of schedule. A recent customer said the movers reassembled their beds and dressers. A 2025 customer said the company moved them in three separate stages because their new place was not ready, and picked up a heavy refrigerator they had bought online from a different location and delivered it to their home. A 2025 customer said Gerson and Adonay completed the move of a 1-bedroom apartment in 4 hours. A 2025 customer who moved from Stamford, CT to Redding, CT said the moving fee was just about exactly as estimated. A 2025 customer gave one star, saying pre-packed items were moved a 2-minute drive to an office space where storage was separated by duct tape, that the charge was over $600, and that their credit card was over-charged by more than $600 in a way that did not line up with the invoice they were given. **Strengths:** - FaceTime walkthrough estimate — a recent customer said packing was planned over video - Ahead of schedule — a recent customer said it saved them money off the estimate - Fee matched estimate — a 2025 customer said it was about exactly as estimated **Concerns:** - A billing dispute — a 2025 customer said their card was over-charged over $600 ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - 5 stars from 133 Google ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Smooth%20Move%20%26%20Delivery&query_place_id=ChIJtXnVSI6yHokRPxX3b9NzjFE) — “Google: 5★ from 133 ratings” - Better Business Bureau grade of A+ _(confidence: high)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ct/stamford/profile/moving-companies/smooth-move-delivery-llc-0111-87135719) — “Better Business Bureau grade: A+” - A recent customer said packing and the estimate were planned over a FaceTime walkthrough of the house _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2paQlRHSjVkMFpPZG5sRGRXVndVbVY1YldObE9FRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x518c73d36ff7153f!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOjZBTGJ5d0ZOdnlDdWVwUmV5bWNlOEE%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Being 61 and facing a big move I was really tense and nervous.
