Its website names Avon, Simsbury, Canton and Burlington as its service area. A recent Google customer came home from the office to a new roof and said Cheyenne was communicative leading up to the day of work. That customer also noticed one crew member searching for rogue nails with a big magnet. Solar work runs alongside the roofing. A 2025 customer said Jake and Nick kept in close contact throughout a solar installation. A 2025 reviewer wrote that Jake and his crew fixed a solar hot water heater issue after others would not call back. A 2025 customer said the company worked around their solar panel company's timeline and offered half the price their own service charged for solar panel removal and installation. On roofs, a 2025 customer said Jake and his crew replaced the entire roof. A 2025 reviewer with a damaged roof said they were walked through the entire process and the job was completed in a timely manner. A 2026 customer said the head of the company came by near the end of the job to make sure everything was done properly. A 2025 customer said siding was installed within a day. A recent customer said the company came right over but kept in minimal contact about what was going on. A 2026 customer said they would not use the company again because the cleanup after the job fell short of their satisfaction unless an additional payment was made outside the contract. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0699724, as active, held by Society Roofing & Solar. **Strengths:** - Roof replacement — a 2025 customer said Jake and his crew replaced the roof - Nail cleanup — a recent customer said a crew member searched for rogue nails - Solar installation contact — a 2025 customer said Jake and Nick kept close contact **Concerns:** - Job-site cleanup — a 2026 customer said cleanup fell short without extra payment - Progress updates — a recent customer said contact about updates was minimal ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Says it is based in Collinsville, CT, offering roofing, solar and home service work _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://www.societyct.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): At Society Solar, we believe home improvement should always be reliable and transparent.
