On Google it holds 4.9 stars from 34 ratings, and a recent customer called them knowledgeable, clean and good to work with. A 2025 customer said Jairo Urena came to look at the job the same day they called, gave a reasonable price, and did the work the next day after taking care to protect the home. A 2025 customer who found mold on the spray insulation in the attic said the company came the same day, traced the problem to gaps in the existing insulation, and fixed it at a price the customer called very reasonable. A 2024 customer said Jairo and his team finished the entire basement in 2 hours. A 2024 customer had spray foam installed in a crawl space, basement and attic and said belongings in the attic were protected with good prep work. A 2024 customer said the quote beat other estimates by thirty percent, and that they sprayed twelve inches of sill plate while charging for six. A 2024 customer had them clean the old insulation out of the attic as part of an insulation project in the home. A 2024 customer wrote about a remodeling project in Wilton, CT, saying Jairo, the owner, was fair on price and the job was completed in one day. A 2025 customer gave three stars after a substantial project covering most of the first-floor interior walls, the basement rim joist, the garage ceiling, the attic and the roof of the living room. The same 2025 reviewer said the foam quality and cleanup were good, but that fire retardant spray promised on the invoice did not appear to have been applied, and that Jairo said he would look into it and never called back. That 2025 reviewer also said the company is not connected with Energize CT, so its work could not be used for rebates. **Strengths:** - A same-day diagnosis — a 2025 customer said they came the day of the call - A 2-hour basement — a 2024 customer said the whole basement took 2 hours - A lower quote — a 2024 customer said it beat other estimates by thirty percent - Attic prep work — a 2024 customer said belongings in the attic were protected **Concerns:** - Fire retardant spray — a 2025 customer said the invoiced spray did not appear applied - A missed callback — a 2025 customer said Jairo never called back - No Energize CT link — a 2025 customer said rebates could not be used ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - The company says on Angi that Jairo Urena started it about 15 years ago in Norwalk, CT. _(confidence: medium)_ - [Angi](https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ct/norwalk/sono-spray-foam-insulation-llc-reviews-1.htm) — “About (Angi, self-described): About 15 years ago Jairo Urena started a general insulation business known as SONO Sprayfoam Insulation in the…” - 4.9 stars from 34 Google ratings. _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Sono%20Spray%20Foam%20Insulation&query_place_id=ChIJGUfYm88d6IkR9n5sGa-jNcM) — “Google: 4.9★ from 34 ratings” - A 2025 customer said the owner came the same day they called and did the job the next day. _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT21KeE1YVjNSM0p2TTFOeGFGcDZla1pPVnpoRmMxRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xc335a3af196c7ef6!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOmJxMXV3R3JvM1NxaFp6ekZOVzhFc1E%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ After being disappointed by a previous spray foam installer that I had worked with to find they were no longer servicing my area.
