## The honest read

Sound To Bay Pool Services describes itself on its website as owner-operated maintenance for North Fork homeowners, with the same technician, a fixed route day, and equipment that gets looked at before it fails. The site lists Orient, Marion and Long Island as its service area and says the business has 20 years in business.

A Google customer says their pool had a DE filter spraying water and looked like swamp water after another company's closing; they called Seamus, he came that day, and by the time they got home from work the pool was clear and running. That customer says he fixed the DE filter they thought needed replacing, explained what he did and which chemicals he used, and did not overcharge.

A customer with a saltwater pool says Seamus has the pool looking better than ever and recently fixed a leak in their hot tub. A customer who switched to Sound to Bay says he put in a new heater at the start of the season and handles the weekly servicing, and calls the pricing fair. A customer says they diagnosed, ordered parts and had a pump fixed in less than 24 hours. A new customer says Seamus helped with a pool cover failure over the off season, with a quote $100 less for more work and supplies than the previous company, and refused payment for a spot check because "he has another account nearby."

**Strengths:**
- Same-day repair — a customer says the pool was clear the day they called
- A fixed pump — a customer says it was fixed in under 24 hours
- A pool cover quote — a new customer says it was $100 less
