## The honest read

Southington Rustic Fence Company says it has been in business 78 years, and its Houzz profile describes a Connecticut fence company that offers full installation as well as direct materials sales to contractors and DIY homeowners. It holds 4.6 stars from 73 Google ratings and an A+ grade from the Better Business Bureau.

A 2026 customer who needed a pool area expanded for more privacy said the work started in about three weeks as promised, at a fair price, and that they dug right next to pavers without disturbing the base. A 2025 customer described a big project with the install crew on site for 10 days in 35-45° weather, communicating every day. A 2023 customer said the company took down a section of aluminum pool fence panels and posts to make room for a shed, then came back to reinstall the fence in a new configuration. A 2021 customer said Chris and Remy installed a large aluminum fence in a sloped yard. A 2026 customer said staff put in a historic lamp post that winter.

A recent customer wrote that communication has been terrible since the pandemic, that work took forever, and that the company ruined the fence it put up for them in 2020. A 2020 Reddit commenter said the company did the fence around their pool and was a bit pricey compared to other quotes.
