On Houzz it holds 4.9 stars from 41 ratings, on Google 4.7 from 46, and its BBB grade is A+. A 2024 customer on Houzz said Bob replaced an original aging deck and installed matching railings for the front steps, after earlier window replacement and siding and trim work. A 2022 customer wrote that Bob and his team removed an old pressure-treated wood deck and installed a composite deck and railing system, calling it their third job with the company, each completed on schedule and at the budgeted cost. A 2021 customer said Spagnolo Homes built a second floor deck and that Bob gave updates and asked for input along the way. A 2024 customer said Bob did a new front porch and interior upgrades at a summer home in S. Kingstown, then a two-car garage and four room addition, with no change orders beyond extra work that customer requested. A 2025 customer said Bob finished a basement of about 1,100 square feet and stayed on budget and schedule. A 2020 customer said Bob and his team remodeled a kitchen while the house was being readied for sale, and that the company had renovated the home in 2015. A 2025 Google reviewer said Bob had just completed a roofing replacement and called the pricing very fair. A 2020 BuildZoom reviewer had a hard time with a master bathroom addition: the customer said it took 7 months, that subcontractor supervision was non-existent, that the tile installation voided manufacturer warranties for radiant floor heat and the shower pan, and that a steam shower was installed incorrectly. Rhode Island lists its home improvement contractor registration, GC-12107, as active, held by Spagnolo Enterprises, Inc. **Strengths:** - A composite deck — a 2022 customer said it finished on schedule and budget - Basement finishing — a 2025 customer said it stayed on budget and schedule - No change orders — a 2024 customer said extra cost came from requested work **Concerns:** - A long bathroom addition — a 2020 customer said it took 7 months - Tile and steam shower — a 2020 customer faulted the tile and steam shower ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Says it has been building residential projects in Rhode Island since 1995 _(confidence: medium)_ - [Houzz](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/general-contractors/spagnolo-homes-pfvwus-pf~1546233385) — “About (Houzz profile, the business's own statement): Spagnolo Homes has been building residential projects in Rhode Island since 1995.
