## The honest read

A broken bathroom water line under the house is the kind of call St Pierre Plumbing & Drain Cleaning takes: one customer says DJ responded quickly, worked through a tight crawl space, removed the old broken line and installed a new one. The company says it has been in business 15 years.

Its New Hampshire plumber licence MBE2501763 is active on the state registry, held by St.Pierre Plumbing & Drains, LLC. Daniel A St.Pierre, Jr holds New Hampshire plumber licence 2009862, which is also active on the state registry.

Much of the work is everyday repair. A customer with a leaking washer valve called for an after-hours visit, was scheduled within a few hours, and says DJ fixed it quickly for a very reasonable price. A customer says the company fixed 8 separate leaks at the home. Tyler snaked one customer's pipe, which is draining well now. A customer says DJ drained and flushed the water heater, checked the anode rod and replaced an inside valve for an exterior hose bib. On Thumbtack, a customer says DJ installed a water heater and an outdoor spigot, then returned to fix a slight spigot leak at no additional charge.

A 2025 customer said DJ repaired a leaking copper pipe in a bedroom ceiling, then replaced the copper lines with pex from the basement up to the second floor bathroom in one day. A 2026 customer said DJ came out on a Saturday for water coming up into the basement bathroom and hallway, which turned out to be a clogged drain out to the septic.

A customer who rated the company 2 stars says the installation was good, but they were not told how the unit works or how to maintain it, and water was left on the cellar floor where the pipes were cut apart. A 2026 Thumbtack customer said they never heard back about an estimate after sending photos.

**Strengths:**
- Water line replacement — a broken bathroom line replaced from a crawl space
- After-hours visit — a washer valve fixed within hours of the call
- Spigot leak fix — DJ returned to fix it at no additional charge
- Drain clearing — Tyler snaked a pipe that is draining well now

**Concerns:**
- Unit instructions — a customer was not told how to maintain it
- Estimate follow-up — a 2026 Thumbtack customer never heard back
