## The honest read

Stark Moving & Storage is a Framingham, MA moving company. Its own site lists local moving, long distance moving, packing and unpacking, piano moving, fine arts moving, furniture moving, crating and storage, and says it offers free estimates and 24/7 emergency service and is insured. The towns its site names include Waltham, Cambridge, Newton, Quincy, Worcester and Sturbridge.

A recent Google review says Alex and the team were highly professional, efficient and careful with the writer's stuff, and came through last minute. Another recent review says Alex and Tamik showed up in time and were efficient with the move.

In 2025, the movers had one writer out of a third-floor north end apartment in an hour and a half and into the new place. On a 2025 move from a 2 bedroom to Somerville, Alex, Max and Tenhiz safely hoisted a couch through the deck when there were issues bringing it through the stairs. A 2025 review says they packed up a pod and unpacked it all into the writer's new place. In another 2025 job, the moving team helped remove wooden crates and assembled the furniture.

A 2025 review says they wrapped things as needed and helped move everything into a house while making sure not to scratch new paint and flooring. In 2025, a writer with a ton of complicated items that required a lot of assembly said they never stopped moving for 10+ hours. A 2025 review says two movers took really good care of the furniture, with no scratches or damage.

On cost and time, a 2025 review says they finished the job under the budgeted time. A separate 2025 review praised fair pricing, and another 2025 writer appreciated their clear pricing and services.

**Strengths:**
- Careful furniture handling — 2025 reviews cite no scratches and careful moves
- Tight-space problem solving — in 2025, hoisted a couch through a deck
- Packing and unpacking — 2025 jobs included a pod and furniture
- Last-minute help — a recent review says they came through last minute
