## The honest read

Still River Woodworks is a Bolton, MA woodworking business that says it offers custom-designed furniture made from local hardwoods, and it offers free estimates. Massachusetts home improvement contractor licence 210818 is active on the state registry, held by Still River Woodworks LLC.

In a recent review, a customer describes contacting Josh about repairing a children's high chair, sending pictures, getting a prompt and detailed response, and bringing the chair to the shop, where he did the repair within a few weeks.

In a 2025 review, a customer wrote that the contractors who set their countertops commented that the cabinet install was phenomenal, and that the work came on time with good communication. In another 2025 review, a customer wrote that Josh recreated the handle for a set of Kershaw blades over 30 years old, quoted a very reasonable price and delivered way ahead of schedule.

In 2024, Josh made a custom coffee table for a customer, designing and building it in solid walnut from a couple of inspiration pictures. In a 2022 review, a customer wrote that they hired Josh Myler to make a dining room table from wood harvested from and dried at their property in Acton, working through details such as the thickness of the tabletop and legs, the edge profile and the finish, and that he also made frames for their commissioned stained glass art. In another 2022 review, a customer wrote that Josh built a dining table with extensions that store compactly within the table, designed to fit with the mid-century furniture in their living and dining areas.

**Strengths:**
- High chair repair — done within a few weeks after a prompt reply
- Cabinet install — 2025 countertop setters called it phenomenal
- Custom tables — solid walnut coffee table in 2024, dining tables in 2022
- Knife handle — 2025 handle recreated and delivered way ahead of schedule
