A local news site, vtcng.com, has named Joshua Goldstein as the owner of Stonewall Hardscapes in Stowe. In a 2017 Houzz review, a customer whose home is on the Vermont State Register of Historic Places said Josh, the owner, was well versed in Burlington's permitting process. That 2017 customer said Josh designed a new driveway and walkway, recommended permeable materials to reduce runoff, and that the job finished in less than three days. A 2016 customer described driveway excavation and the installation of a clay paver driveway and a bluestone walkway. That 2016 customer said he priced very competitively and was fair when they asked for deviations along the way. A 2019 customer said Josh and his crew followed through with the tiniest details and dialed in their takeoffs. **Strengths:** - Historic-home permitting — a 2017 customer said Josh knew Burlington's process - A quick driveway job — a 2017 customer said it finished in under three days - Competitive pricing — a 2016 customer said he priced very competitively ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Describes itself as specializing in masonry installation around the home, business or town _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](http://www.stonewallhardscapes.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): Stonewall Hardscapes specializes in the efficient and proper installation of any and all masonry applicatio…” - A local news site names Joshua Goldstein as the owner of Stonewall Hardscapes in Stowe _(confidence: medium)_ - [Local News](https://www.vtcng.com/stowe_reporter/news/local_news/sidewalk-cross-talk-in-stowe/article_4b1351a4-d5d8-11e7-a04b-6bf745902750.html) — “vtcng.com — Joshua Goldstein, who owns Stonewall Hardscapes in Stowe and has done some contracting work for the town in the past, thinks con…” - A 2017 customer with a historic home said Josh knew Burlington's permitting process and designed a new driveway and walkway with permeable materials _(confidence: medium)_ - [Houzz](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/landscape-contractors/stonewall-hardscapes-llc-pfvwus-pf~92758141) — “5★ Because our home is on the Vermont State Register of Historic Places, any construction work requires a thorough knowledge of Burlington's…” - A 2017 customer said the driveway and walkway job finished in less than three days _(confidence: medium)_ - [Houzz](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/landscape-contractors/stonewall-hardscapes-llc-pfvwus-pf~92758141) — “5★ Because our home is on the Vermont State Register of Historic Places, any construction work requires a thorough knowledge of Burlington's…” - A 2016 customer described driveway excavation, a clay paver driveway and a bluestone walkway _(confidence: medium)_ - [Houzz](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/landscape-contractors/stonewall-hardscapes-llc-pfvwus-pf~92758141) — “5★ I got to know Josh and his team pretty well over the course of our project (driveway excavation, and installation of clay paver driveway …” - A 2016 customer said he priced very competitively and was fair about deviations _(confidence: medium)_ - [Houzz](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/landscape-contractors/stonewall-hardscapes-llc-pfvwus-pf~92758141) — “5★ I got to know Josh and his team pretty well over the course of our project (driveway excavation, and installation of clay paver driveway …” - 5.0 stars on Houzz _(confidence: medium)_ - [Houzz](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/landscape-contractors/stonewall-hardscapes-llc-pfvwus-pf~92758141) — “Houzz: 5.0★ from 3 ratings” - Specializes in Landscaping _(confidence: medium)_ - [Houzz](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/landscape-contractors/stonewall-hardscapes-llc-pfvwus-pf~92758141) — “5★ Because our home is on the Vermont State Register of Historic Places, any construction work requires a thorough knowledge of Burlington's…” - [Houzz](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/landscape-contractors/stonewall-hardscapes-llc-pfvwus-pf~92758141) — “About (Houzz profile, the business's own statement): Stonewall Hardscapes creates the scenery for your memories.
