## The honest read

Wind tore the siding off the third floor of a two-family house, and the siding was 20 years old. A recent customer said Jessica assured them Storm Mate would match it as best they could, and wrote that you can barely notice the repair.

Storm Mate describes itself as a family-owned roofing and exterior restoration company founded by Moises, helping Connecticut homeowners recover from storm damage. A recent customer had him repair woodpecker damage to the siding. A 2025 customer said a tree fell on their siding, and Moisés arrived and repaired it the same day they booked. A 2025 customer wrote that Moises repaired vinyl siding the wind had detached, left everything clean, and took less than 24 hours from estimate to finished repair.

A 2026 customer said the company was responsive with an estimate and timely in raking heavy snow off their roof. A 2025 customer said Moises replaced their roof, explained everything clearly and showed up on time. A 2024 customer said Moises explained in plain terms what was wrong with the roof, went over financing options and helped with the insurance claim. A 2024 customer wrote that the team worked directly with their insurance on approval of both the siding and the roof.

A 2024 customer said the company repaired a leak under a window, found asbestos when the interior wall was opened, removed it safely and restored both the interior and exterior.

**Strengths:**
- Siding matching — a recent customer said the repair is barely noticeable
- Same-day siding repair — a 2025 customer said it was fixed that day
- Insurance claim help — a 2024 customer said Moises helped with the claim
- Snow raking — a 2026 customer said it was done in a timely way
