A recent customer who called Jake the owner said his crew replaced an older roof and put a new roof on an addition, all in one day, then cleaned thoroughly when done. The company's website lists a service area running from North Hampton, Hampton, Rye, Portsmouth and Exeter to Kittery, York, Wells, Kennebunk and Ogunquit, and it offers free estimates. A Dover customer who was not home during a roof replacement said Jake sent pictures and videos throughout and was on site the whole time, with everything completed in one day. A customer described a multi-structure roof replacement finished within a day and praised the cleanup after the demolition. A Manchester customer said Jake left plenty of time to think after the estimate, used none of the sales tactics other companies had, and walked around the house with them multiple times after the work was finished. Small details get handled too. One customer said Jake changed the drip edge color a day before the build, showing up before the crew to swap it out. A Kittery customer said the materials, dumpster and roofing crew all arrived as scheduled and on time. A 2026 Portsmouth customer said the crew installed an asphalt architectural shingle roof and did a thorough cleanup afterward. A 2026 customer said Jake and Luisa helped choose roofing materials for durability while staying within budget. The work is not only roofs: a 2025 customer said gutters and gutter guards were installed in a couple of hours. On Google the company holds 5 stars from 27 ratings, Thumbtack shows 5.0 from 13 ratings, and its Better Business Bureau page carries an A grade and accreditation. **Strengths:** - A one-day replacement — a recent Dover customer said it finished in one day - Photo and video updates — sent throughout the job to a Dover customer away from home - A no-pressure estimate — a Manchester customer said no sales tactics were used - On-time materials — a Kittery customer said dumpster and crew arrived as scheduled ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - 5 stars from 27 Google ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Stormshield%20Roofing&query_place_id=ChIJgZ3JW8exzkoRdxZRrLpQmPg) — “Google: 5★ from 27 ratings” - 5.0 stars from 13 Thumbtack ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Thumbtack](https://www.thumbtack.com/nh/north-hampton/roofing/stormshield-roofing/service/551649981650403339?spotlightWebMarkupEnabled=1) — “Thumbtack: 5.0★ from 13 ratings” - Better Business Bureau grade A and accredited _(confidence: high)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/nh/north-hampton/profile/roofing-contractors/stormshield-roofing-llc-0051-92071697) — “Better Business Bureau grade: A” - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/nh/north-hampton/profile/roofing-contractors/stormshield-roofing-llc-0051-92071697) — “Better Business Bureau: accredited / certified / member” - Website lists a service area from North Hampton and Portsmouth to Kittery, York and Ogunquit _(confidence: high)_ - [Official Website](https://www.stormshieldus.com) — “Stated service area (self-reported): North Hampton, Hampton, Rye, Portsmouth, Exeter, Kittery, York, Wells, Kennebunk, Ogunquit” - A recent customer said an older roof and a new roof on an addition were done in one day, with a thorough cleanup _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2pBM1RFbGlTMUk0UVRSeFFUbGlTRGQzU0ZoSlZWRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xf89850baac511677!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOjA3TEliS1I4QTRxQTliSDd3SFhJVVE%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Do you need a new roof??
