## The honest read

Sullivan Brick and Branch, LLC describes itself on its Better Business Bureau profile as a masonry and tree work business.

One recent customer hired the company for chimney repair while racing to finish before a new roof. Jason came out shortly after being contacted, gave a fair estimate, fit the job into a busy schedule, showed up on time with his crew, cleaned up any mess and provided pictures of the process before, during and after. A customer said Jay worked on their stone chimney and also took down an old maple that was too close to the house.

A customer said the quote came the same day Jay came out, the job was done within the same week, and the trees and vines in the yard came down.

One customer has hired Jay and his crew for several jobs: a chimney repair, a gutter install and, most recently, repairing, residing and painting a garage front wall. The company also replaced three basement windows for a customer who called the work quick and clean. One customer wrote that he "did more than promised just because he saw something on my roof while he was up there."

On Google the business shows 5 stars from 7 ratings, and it carries an A grade with the Better Business Bureau.

**Strengths:**
- Chimney repair — a fair estimate and an on-time start before a new roof
- Quick tree job — quoted the same day, done within the same week
- A repeat customer — chimney, gutters, then a garage wall
- Job photos — a customer got pictures before, during and after
