The company says it has been in business for 63 years. A recent Google customer who had 2 bathrooms remodeled said Frank wrote up in detail what was proposed, with options where it made sense, and that the tiling was labor intensive and the workmanship impressed them. A recent customer said the team completed the entire installation of a bathroom renovation in one day, including drywall work, and that the contractor who came in afterward to do the painting commented on the quality. When a small issue cropped up later on, a recent customer said the company stood behind its work without question. A 2024 customer said Frank & Frank and crew finished exactly when they said they would, and praised the sheet rock and electrician work. A 2022 customer described 3 bathrooms done in 3 weeks, on time and on budget. A 2026 customer left 2 stars after a bathroom remodel. That customer said no plastic was hung up during demo, the walls were not ready for paint, "the tile guy" left their buckets full of hardened thin set, the threshold was uneven enough to see without a level and had to be leveled on a later visit, and the vanity had a blemish. The same customer said they got "a Lowes /Home Depot quailty bathroom remodel at a preimum price" and that Frank needs to be more present on the jobsite. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0572608, as active, held by Summa Construction Services LLC. **Strengths:** - Detailed written proposal — a recent customer said Frank wrote up options in detail - Stood behind its work — a recent customer said a later issue was handled - Three bathrooms, three weeks — a 2022 customer said it ran on time and budget **Concerns:** - Finish quality — a 2026 customer cited an uneven threshold and vanity blemish - Dust during demo — a 2026 customer said no plastic was hung up ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Lists a service area of Cheshire, Southington, Farmington, Newington, Wolcott, Prospect, Waterbury and Bristol _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](http://www.summaconstructionservices.com) — “Stated service area (self-reported): Cheshire, Southington, Farmington, Newington, Wolcott, Prospect, Waterbury, Bristol” - The company says it has been in business for 63 years _(confidence: low)_ - [Official Website](http://www.summaconstructionservices.com) — “Self-reported 63 years in business” - A recent customer who had 2 bathrooms remodeled said Frank wrote up the proposal in detail with options and praised the tile workmanship _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2tKMmFHaHZjVU5oYkZseFQwMUxjWGROZVVoaVVHYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xb774ec036fb9ecff!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOkJ2aGhvcUNhbFlxT01LcXdNeUhiUGc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ We had 2 bathrooms remodeled and we are extremely pleased with the finished product.
