Its RI hvac license, number 00006054, is active on the state registry in Michael Januario's name. The Better Business Bureau gives it an A+ grade. On its website the company says it has been in business 88 years and offers 24/7 emergency service. A 2026 Google reviewer said they called for an oil fill-up before a blizzard and were scheduled for Monday, and the company came Sunday before the storm started and filled the tank without being asked for an earlier delivery. A 2026 Google reviewer wrote that an oil delivery scheduled for that day was delivered before the start of the blizzard. A 2026 Google reviewer said the company took care of their Generac emergency back-up generator with twice-a-year tune-ups, plus their boiler and heating system, and that of three times they needed help in two years, one required a home visit and two were resolved over the phone. A 2026 Google reviewer, a new customer whose family had just closed on a house and found the oil tank pretty much empty, said the company got them oil quickly. A 2025 Google reviewer thanked Will and Eric for tuning up their oil burner and said a lot of time went into cleaning the fire chamber and injection system, and that a small leak in one of the relief valves was found and corrected. A 2025 Google reviewer said the company replaced their oil burner with a propane burner and replaced defective piping for a propane fireplace and stove, and that they showed up on time and cleaned up everything. A 2025 Google reviewer wrote that they had gotten less than 24-hour turnaround from placing an order to delivery. A 2024 Google reviewer, writing about Pride Heating and Air Conditioning, which that review calls a division of Sunshine Fuels, described the installation of a ducted and non-ducted mini-split system in their historic home. A 2023 Google reviewer said John Calce came out to service their steam heat system, inspected and cleaned it, and diagnosed other issues including a small leak from a loose fitting. A 2022 Google reviewer said the technicians arrived promptly on a cold winter day when their heat was not working, diagnosed and fixed the problem, and clearly explained it. A recent Google reviewer said they ordered oil at $6.22 per gallon and by delivery the price had gone up to $6.42, wrote that prices around RI were between $5.25 and $6.00, and said they would not continue ordering from the company if they didn't have to.
