On HomeAdvisor the company says it was established in 1978 and that it sells and installs Sunspace Sunrooms only rather than stick-building them. Its website lists screen rooms, WeatherMaster windows and doors, patio covers and porch enclosures, and names a service area from Portland and Scarborough up to Brunswick and Harpswell. A 2025 customer said the project added a sunroom on an existing deck, and that the people doing the construction kept a clean and organized workspace. A 2025 customer said they were able to salvage the composite deck and reposition it next to the new sunroom, and recommended Ken and his crew. A 2025 customer who was pleased with the sunroom said the project started 3 months later than originally scheduled, and that communication with the owner of the franchise was not as frequent or informative as they wanted. That 2025 customer said minor damage to the original siding and to the sunroom itself was noticed on completion, and that they would still hire them again. A 2025 customer said the gutters on the sunroom quickly filled with debris and were very difficult to clean. **Strengths:** - A deck sunroom — a 2025 customer said the workspace stayed clean and organized - A salvaged deck — a 2025 customer said it was repositioned beside the sunroom **Concerns:** - A late start — a 2025 customer said the project began 3 months late - Minor damage — a 2025 customer said siding and sunroom were slightly damaged - Gutter upkeep — a 2025 customer said the sunroom gutters were hard to clean **Where sources disagree:** - HomeAdvisor gives 1978 as the year Sunrise Home Incorporated was established, while its BBB page gives 1979. ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Says on HomeAdvisor it was established in 1978 and sells and installs Sunspace Sunrooms only _(confidence: medium)_ - [HomeAdvisor](https://www.homeadvisor.com/rated.SunriseHomeIncorporated.17569538.html) — “About (HomeAdvisor, self-described): Sunrise Home Incorporated was established in 1978.
