## The honest read

Sunun Masonry LLC, a Stamford masonry company, replaced broken concrete on a customer's front stairs and repaired sagging patio pavers in an October 2026 Google review; Jaime came the next day for a consultation and work started 2 days later. On Google it holds 5 stars from 128 ratings.

The 2026 Google reviews describe quick starts and repair work. An August 2026 customer said the company picked up the first call, came out for the consult almost immediately and had a mini sinkhole at the base of the back steps repaired within 6 days of that call. A September 2026 customer whose deck had about half of the grouting missing and cracked stones said the team restored it to the point that the family now uses it. A May 2026 customer said work on patio joints and a stone wall started the next day after the quote, and that the owner was honest and sincere. In a February 2026 review, a customer said the crew built an entire heated workspace to finish a new wall through a cold and snowy winter.

Earlier reviews carry larger builds. A July 2025 customer had a large stone wall with fire pit, seating, patio pavers and custom blue stone stairs done by Jimmy, Brenda and their team. An October 2024 customer had a sunken patio base redone, with the slope and pitch reset with lasers, the base compacted and the pavers re-laid. A September 2025 customer said the company came back to fix a small issue months after the job and did not charge for the visit.

One May 2025 Google review is a 1-star complaint: after weather moved the schedule, the customer's husband confirmed a new date by phone, and an hour after the expected arrival nobody had come or called, and on contacting the company he learned they had no intention of coming.

Its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0670625, is active on the state registry. The Better Business Bureau grades it A+. The company's own site says it has been in business 12 years and serves towns from Bridgeport to Greenwich.

**Strengths:**
- Quick starts — a 2026 customer saw work begin 2 days after consultation
- Patio rebuilds — a 2024 customer had a sunken base redone and re-laid
- Follow-up fixes — a 2025 customer got a later repair at no charge

**Concerns:**
- Missed start date — a May 2025 customer said nobody came or called
