## The honest read

Superior Overhead Door LLC is a garage door company that says it is based in Oxford, CT and serves New Haven County along with Fairfield and Litchfield counties. Its site describes its work as garage door repairs, installation and parts, and lists free estimates and 24/7 emergency service.

A 2025 customer said Tom, the owner, replaced a panel on one door, upgraded the lifting mechanisms on both, replaced the cables and springs on both doors, and showed how to maintain them, including lubrication and cleaning. That 2025 customer called his pricing very fair for the quality of the work.

A 2024 customer said Tom installed a new garage door opener because the old one could not be repaired, and wrote that he called back and came out when he said he would. A 2024 reviewer wrote that Tom Bottone installed two Wi-Fi-enabled door openers and walked through how to use the new system before leaving. That 2024 reviewer also said Tom inspected every part of 30-year-old garage doors and made the necessary adjustments, aiming to preserve them rather than replace them.

A 2022 customer who called for an emergency repair said the owner came out promptly, fixed a broken spring and cable, and also repaired damaged siding on the door. In a 2022 review, a customer wrote of working with the company for many years on numerous jobs, on custom homes as well as personal residences, and thanked Tom for the doors.

Connecticut lists the company's home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0673508, as active.
