## The honest read

Superior Waste & Recycling is a Worcester dumpster and junk business, and a recent Google reviewer whose company comes from the Boston area to dump there said it has good rates and no per-ton minimum.

The company describes itself as a family-owned Worcester waste-removal company that rents dumpsters and runs a transfer station, residential drop-off and scrap yard, and says it has been in the waste business since 2009. On Google it holds 4.2 stars from 292 ratings, and the BBB grades it A+.

A 2024 customer said two of them could not carry some demolition waste the first day, so they came back the next day with a dolly. A 2023 customer preparing a property for sale said the driver called each morning with an ETA, and that Bob and Jesus were prompt.

A 2025 customer said they were charged for something they had already paid for, that more money was taken from their account and not refunded, and that there was no way they put 1.8 tons of clothes in a 10-yard dumpster. A 2024 customer said two car seats were weighed at 300 lbs, a reweigh came to around 180 lbs, and they were still charged for 300. A recent customer said they ordered a 2-yard dumpster biweekly and were charged the 4-yard weekly rate. A 2023 customer said weekly pick-up was often missed during about two years with the company, including one stretch of 3 weeks without a pick-up.

A recent reviewer said workers at the facility were going without helmets, colored warning vests, boots, gloves or masks.

**Strengths:**
- No per-ton minimum — a recent reviewer cited good rates and no minimum
- A dolly return trip — a 2024 customer said they came back next day

**Concerns:**
- A disputed scale weight — a 2024 customer was charged 300 lbs for two car seats
- A dumpster billing mix-up — a recent customer was charged a 4-yard weekly rate
- Missed weekly pick-up — a 2023 customer said pick-up was often missed
- Missing safety gear — a recent reviewer saw workers without helmets or vests
