On its BBB page it describes pool maintenance, repair and renovation, including inspections and seasonal opening and closing. Its BBB grade is A+, and it holds a 3.7-star Google average from 23 ratings. A recent Google customer with an older pool said the crew persevere until all issues are resolved, and that they have been customers for 14 years. In a 2025 review, a customer said something happened to their pool the day before a daughter's birthday party, and after one quick email the company came out the same day, on a weekend, and fixed the issue. A 2025 customer wrote that the company did weekly cleaning, was quick to complete repairs and was on time opening and closing the pool. A 2025 customer said Swimm Pools had serviced their pool for over 20 years, including opening, weekly maintenance and closing. A 2024 customer whose pool the company had maintained for over ten years said it would not repair the loose pins holding their winter pool cover and would not recommend a company that could. In a 2021 Houzz review, a customer said Swimm renovated their pool, patio area and pool equipment in time for summer 2012, and that the following spring the water level dropped and the company sent someone to seal off the drain for a charge. That 2021 reviewer said a new pool service company later found leakage around the skimmers, and that the only way to trace it was to rip up the bluestone patio. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0561851, as active, held by Swimm Pools Inc. **Strengths:** - Same-day weekend fix — a 2025 customer said the issue was fixed that day - Weekly pool service — a 2025 customer praised weekly cleaning and on-time openings **Concerns:** - Winter cover pins — a 2024 customer said the company declined the repair - Skimmer leakage — a 2021 reviewer suspected skimmers unsealed in a 2012 renovation ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Darien-based pool company _(confidence: medium)_ - [Local News](https://newcanaanite.com/homeowner-seeks-after-the-fact-variance-for-pool-8502600) — “newcanaanite.com — The owners of 278 Davenport Ridge are seeking an after-the-fact variance to the regulation for an 800-square-foot pool bu…” - Describes pool maintenance, repair and renovation, including seasonal opening and closing _(confidence: medium)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ct/darien/profile/pool-contractors/swimm-pool-patio-0111-31003071) — “About (Better Business Bureau, self-described): Swimm Pools provides pool maintenance, repair, and renovation services, including inspection…” - 3.7-star Google average from 23 ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Swimm%20Pools%2C%20Inc.&query_place_id=ChIJL7AzxSce6IkR7ldqjoWLm4E) — “Google: 3.7★ from 23 ratings” - BBB grade A+ _(confidence: high)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ct/darien/profile/pool-contractors/swimm-pool-patio-0111-31003071) — “Better Business Bureau grade: A+” - A recent customer said the crew persevere until all issues with an older pool are resolved _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2pCVFh5MXNMWEZtZFRCMmREUXpjMWh5ZFhsWmJHYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x819b8b858e6a57ee!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOjBTXy1sLXFmdTB2dDQzc1hydXlZbGc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Swimm Pools continue to impress me with their consistently professional and responsive service.
