## The honest read

A client's frozen pipes, eight plumbers called, and one who rang back that evening: a 2026 customer said Tony from T.C.'s Plumbing & Heating spoke with them for 17 minutes after hours and moved his next-day morning appointment back to take the emergency. That 2026 customer said Tony and his team spent two hours bringing the temperature up and defrosting the pipes.

The company says it has been in business since 1997 and names Fairfield, Bridgeport, New Haven and Orange as its service area. On Google it holds a 4.8-star average from 18 ratings, and the Better Business Bureau grades it A+.

A recent customer says they installed a home water filter system quickly, with no leaks. In a 2022 review, a customer said they first spoke with Tony Coscia, whom that customer named as the owner, on a Wednesday about a leaking electric water heater, and that by Friday the old heater was out and the new one installed in about two hours. That 2022 customer said Tony recommended a water sensor in the bottom of the pan to alert them to a leak.

In a 2023 review, a customer said the bill for unblocking a pipe was over $500 for a visit of no more than 90 minutes, and said they were shocked by the price.

A 2023 customer who called for multiple small plumbing repairs said that when they called back about two small problems with the work, the company responded quickly.

**Strengths:**
- Frozen-pipe emergency — a 2026 customer said Tony returned the call that evening
- Water heater replacement — a 2022 customer said the install took about two hours
- A water filter install — a recent customer says it went quickly with no leaks

**Concerns:**
- Pipe-unblocking price — a 2023 customer was billed over $500 for one visit
