Last 6 months: 5 reviews, 0 negative. ## The honest read T.H. Moore & Sons Construction Group describes itself on BBB as a residential construction and remodeling company that services only Fairfield and New Haven counties. On its website it says it works for commercial and residential customers in Connecticut, on small repairs and large projects. One recent customer says they have used the company for four major projects in their home: a rehab of the entire first floor, a total bathroom redo, the master bedroom and, most recently, a finished basement. That customer adds that if you call Tim he answers, and if he doesn't, he gets back to you. A recent customer who hired Tim for a new deck had already received three other estimates they felt were outrageously expensive; they say Tim worked with them to stay within budget and the job was cleaned up each day. A recent basement customer said Tim Moore's job for them included a bathroom, custom cabinetry and wall finishing, plus columns he built to separate the areas, and that it was completed on time despite several changes. A 2025 customer said Tim and his crew renovated their primary bathroom and that the project was completed on time and on budget. A 2025 customer wrote that after a fire left their home unlivable and the family displaced for nine months, Tim, Tyler and their crew were a steady presence throughout the renovation. A 2024 customer said Tim and Tyler built a custom deck on their new construction home from a vision drawn on a piece of paper. A 2023 customer said Tim did a full gut kitchen renovation in their old house, and that when unexpected occurrences came up he explained the options available. A 2023 customer described a project to repair 8 condominium units with siding issues and leaking doors and windows; that customer said Tim diagnosed the issues and the work came at a reasonable price. A 2022 customer said the job came out fine but that both individuals trampled all over their pachysandra plants, which needed replacing. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0674018, as active, held by T H Moore and Sons Construction Group LLC. **Strengths:** - Answers the phone — a recent customer says Tim answers or gets back to them - Daily cleanup — a recent deck customer said the job was cleaned up each day - A finished basement — a recent customer said it was completed on time despite changes - Custom deck build — a 2024 customer said their paper sketch became their deck - Bathroom renovation timing — a 2025 customer said it finished on time and on budget **Concerns:** - Care around plantings — a 2022 customer said pachysandra plants were trampled ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Describes itself as a residential construction and remodeling company serving only Fairfield and New Haven counties _(confidence: medium)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ct/stratford/profile/construction-services/th-moore-sons-construction-group-llc-0111-87076852) — “About (Better Business Bureau, self-described): T.H.
