## The honest read

"I'm used to getting aggravated, not this time," a Google reviewer wrote in May 2026: John answered the phone, scheduled the work, and finished it when he said he would at a reasonable price. Several reviewers name John Telesco as the owner of Telesco Electric, a Southbury electrician at 103 Holly Hill Ln whose Connecticut electrical licence, ELC.0190340-E1, is active in the name Telesco Electric LLC. Google shows 5 stars from 9 ratings, Angi and HomeAdvisor 4.9 from 10 each, and the BBB grade is A+.

The jobs customers describe include some sizable ones. In a March 2023 review, a family said John upgraded their entire first floor: recessed lighting, a rewired panel, a service upgrade, under-cabinet kitchen lighting and new wiring to the panel. A January 2024 customer had a 200-amp service upgrade, and a June 2026 reviewer had a 230-volt circuit and disconnect installed for air conditioning, plus code-compliant grounding for the main panel. In February 2024, Telesco hung a large chandelier on an 18-foot ceiling and stuck to the quoted price. Pool and spa work shows up too: a 2024 reviewer described a timer, about 30 feet of underground wiring and pool bonding, and a 2023 customer said John checked with a hot tub's manufacturer to protect its warranty.

A March 2024 reviewer said problems they had lived with since the house was built were all fixed, along with others found along the way. A 2025 customer had appliance outlets installed with the drywall patched, and when they later suspected an issue, John came right back to check — it turned out not to be his work. Reviewers describe the pricing as fair, reasonable or as quoted in eight reviews.

**Strengths:**
- Whole-floor upgrades — 2023 job covered lighting, panel and service
- Kept to quotes — reviewers say the final price matched the quote
- Comes back — 2025 reviewer says John returned promptly after payment
