In a November 2025 Google review, a homeowner said he reorganized sloppy panel wiring and found defects in work a licensed electrician had done before him, explaining each issue as he fixed it. An April 2025 reviewer said he replaced a panel a previous contractor had left a mess, arrived exactly on time, and secured the basement steps while he was there. Speed and small jobs come up too. In a February 2024 Angi review, a customer texted him, had him at the door in 45 minutes, and had a new dryer plug installed 45 minutes later. A July 2025 reviewer said he did not mind coming out for a small job and priced it well below another estimate. A March 2026 customer said he replaced a malfunctioning thermostat in the time he estimated. A 2022 reviewer said they had used him for about four years, for a panel replacement, a generator hookup upgrade, an AC issue and bathroom lighting and an exhaust fan. He holds 5 stars on Google from 16 ratings and 5.0 on HomeAdvisor and Angi from 21 ratings each, with reviews from 2022 to 2026. His Connecticut E1 electrician licence, ELC.0196048-E1, held by Terrance N. Tchir, is active according to the state licence registry. **Strengths:** - Panel cleanups — 2025 reviewers say he fixed earlier electricians' work - Fast response — on site 45 minutes after a 2024 text - Small jobs welcome — a 2025 customer got a lower quote than elsewhere ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Holds an active Connecticut E1 electrician licence, ELC.0196048-E1, under Terrance N.
