## The honest read

TG's Landscaping Co holds a 4.8-star Google rating from 150 ratings. The company lists Trumbull, Fairfield, Easton, Shelton, Southport, Stamford and Westport as its service area and says it has been in business 40 years.

One recent customer hired TG's for a spring clean up and said the crew came by quickly and did the job for a fair price. A customer said the company hand-weeded, edged and mulched the beds in their yard, and praised TJ's clear communication. A customer seeding in early spring said TG's guys avoided those areas with large mowers and cut around them by hand.

The treasurer of a six-building townhome condominium association wrote that TJ and his team replaced a poorly managed landscaping program within a single season, and called the pricing fair and the cost structure transparent.

A 2026 customer from Monroe said he put their in-law in Fairfield on a secondary list during a blizzard and came through on the snow clean up. A 2025 customer said TG's had done tree and flower bed installs, a deer fence install and masonry around their property. A 2024 customer said TJ was hired to install stone on the front of their home, and that the mason cut and placed each stone. In a 2023 review, a customer said the team did a full patio redo and seasonal clean ups, and was there the next day for a quick patio fix.

In 2023, a customer asking for a quote said the employee pushed the appointment time back twice and was insulted when the customer objected.

**Strengths:**
- A quick spring cleanup — a recent customer said the crew came quickly, fair price
- Hand-weeded beds — a recent customer said beds were weeded, edged and mulched
- Condo program turnaround — a treasurer said one season fixed the landscaping program
- Stone on a home — a 2024 customer said each stone was cut and placed

**Concerns:**
- Quote scheduling — a 2023 customer said the appointment time slipped twice
