## The honest read

The Dustball Diva cleans homes, and it brings the family pets into the job: the company says on its website that it vacuums pet beds and cat trees and cleans the food and water bowls. It says it has been in business for five years.

A recent Google customer called Amelia and her small crew reliable, pleasant and conscientious. A recent customer wrote that a spring cleaning went beyond a simple clean and included two stories of stairs.

A 2026 customer said Amelia handled a deep clean before an open house, where they asked for nit-picky things like the bathroom drawers cleaned out, and that she sent progress photos while the dogs stayed home. A 2025 customer said a last-minute move-out clean was finished in under the time Amelia estimated, and that the landlord was more than happy with the results. In a 2022 review, a customer said Amelia and her team got a house of over 3000 square feet listing-ready on a tight time frame, then came back to make sure they were happy. A 2024 customer said a deep clean came at a very reasonable rate.

In a 2021 review, a customer who had never used a cleaning service said Amelia showed up early, washed the window screen, cleaned out the bathroom drain, vacuumed and mopped the dining room and kitchen, and took three bags to Goodwill for them.

Scheduling is where things went wrong. A 2023 customer said Amelia never called, emailed or texted before an agreed appointment was missed, and an email reply showed it had been cancelled. A 2022 customer said nobody came to a consultation appointment despite reminders, and an attempt to rebook got no response.

**Strengths:**
- A move-out clean — a 2025 customer said it finished under the estimated time
- Progress photos — a 2026 customer said Amelia sent photos during the clean
- A listing-ready clean — a 2022 customer said the team met a tight time frame

**Concerns:**
- A missed appointment — a 2023 customer said no one called before it was cancelled
- A consultation no-show — a 2022 customer said nobody came and rebooking went unanswered
