Gundersen Company describes itself on its Better Business Bureau page as a residential and commercial roofing and remodeling business, with services that include renovations, siding, gutters, windows and doors. A 2024 Google reviewer couldn't be happier with the siding and trim work done at a commercial building, and said it was almost finished in one day. That 2024 reviewer also wrote that "He does much more than just siding." A 2019 BuildZoom reviewer said Glenn was hired in October 2018 to install porch sliding doors and do ceiling repair at a Madison home, and that he stalled on starting the job until January 7th. That 2019 reviewer wrote that calls were rarely answered or returned, and that boarding went up where the contract called for reinstalling the aluminum siding. In that 2019 review, the customer said it took from mid-January until mid-May to get the material replaced and the siding put up, that the ceiling repairs were still not complete, and that Glenn had been let go. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0554511, held by Glenn R Gundersen Co, as inactive due to non-renewal. **Strengths:** - Siding and trim work — a 2024 customer was pleased with a commercial building job **Concerns:** - A stalled start — a 2019 reviewer said work waited until January 7th - Wrong materials — a 2019 reviewer said boarding went up instead of siding - Unfinished ceiling repair — a 2019 reviewer said it was still not complete - Unreturned calls — a 2019 reviewer said calls were rarely answered ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Describes itself on its BBB page as a residential and commercial roofing and remodeling business offering renovations, siding, gutters, windows and doors _(confidence: medium)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ct/guilford/profile/roofing-contractors/the-glenn-r-gundersen-company-0111-60000441) — “About (Better Business Bureau, self-described): The Glenn R.
