In a 2019 review, a customer said Jeff Carter and The Westmount Group renovated their Guilford kitchen, a project in the $40,000 range, with all cabinets, shelving, drawers, counter tops and molding custom designed and custom made to fit the space. That 2019 customer wrote that Jeff supervised all the work and selected and matched the wood so the grain ran in the horizontal direction they requested. The same 2019 reviewer said everything was clean at the end and the project was on budget. A 2020 customer wrote that when there were issues on a project, Jeff ensured everything was finished to their satisfaction. A 2015 customer said the company offered suggestions for fabrication techniques to solve a problem. In a separate 2015 review, an architect wrote of doing maybe a dozen projects with the company and called Jeff Carter and his team collaborators on complicated, exacting work. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0578348, as inactive due to non-renewal, held by Westmount Group LLC. **Strengths:** - Custom kitchen cabinetry — a 2019 customer described custom-made cabinets, shelving and molding - An on-budget project — a 2019 customer said the kitchen project was on budget - Fabrication suggestions — a 2015 customer cited advice on fabrication techniques ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Describes itself as a full-service woodworking workshop that designs and builds custom interior and exterior elements _(confidence: high)_ - [Official Website](http://www.westmountgroup.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): Westmount Group is a full-service woodworking workshop.
