## The honest read

A heavy chandelier hung from a high ceiling is the job one 2025 customer remembered: they said Thomas Connolly Electrical Contractor LLC installed it in less time than the whole day other companies said it would take, and cleaned up thoroughly afterward.

The company says on Angi that it has served the Milford area since 1998. Its own website walks through a home backup generator install: preparing the site, placing the generator, running the natural gas or LP fuel line, installing the transfer switch and making the electrical connections.

A 2025 customer said their generator was serviced at a reasonable price promptly after they called. A 2025 customer who hired the company for electrical work in their home said Thomas and his crew left the work area clean and tidy. In 2017, an Angi customer called Thomas Connolly a professional in both his communications and his execution. Google shows 4.6 stars from 10 ratings, and Angi 4.9 stars from four.

A 2024 customer said this person installed a standby generator at their home a few years earlier and then stopped returning their calls and emails.

Its Connecticut electrical licence, ELC.0184969-E1, is active, held by Thomas A Connolly.

**Strengths:**
- Chandelier install — a 2025 customer said it took less time than others estimated
- Generator service — a 2025 customer said it was prompt and reasonably priced
- A clean work area — a 2025 customer said Thomas and his crew left it tidy

**Concerns:**
