## The honest read

ThrivingGardens LLC is a Lynnfield, MA gardening and landscape-design practice run by Clifton Perkins, focused on native-plant, organic garden design and maintenance — sod, native grass seeding, water features, wildscaping and xeriscaping.

In a 2014 Houzz review, a longtime Cambridge client described nearly ten years working with Perkins, calling him "among the most dedicated, attentive, and thoughtful" professionals they'd hired, someone who pours care into the garden and draws daily compliments from neighbors. In a 2021 HomeAdvisor review, another client credited an immediate response to save a damaged tree and "wonderful knowledge of the native plants, the soil and needs to create and maintain a beautiful garden" using organic techniques.

HomeAdvisor's page highlights 18 years of experience, though the company's own blurb on the same page says over 12.

A fit for a homeowner wanting an ongoing, organic-minded garden relationship rather than a one-off install.

**Strengths:**
- Long-term client relationship — nearly ten years maintaining one Cambridge garden
- Organic, native-plant expertise — praised for plant and soil knowledge

**Where sources disagree:**
- HomeAdvisor's highlighted experience figure (18 years) doesn't match the business's own blurb on the same page (over 12 years)
