## The honest read

Tim MK Remodeling is a Danvers-based renovator homeowners on the North Shore hire for both large gut renovations and smaller punch-list work. The company says it offers kitchen, bathroom, whole-home, window/door, and basement remodeling along with general home maintenance, and its owner, Tim, appears by name across every review on file.

The five reviews on record, from 2018 through 2025, are all five stars. The largest job described is a full kitchen and bathroom renovation down to the studs, including removing a wall to open the floor plan, installing hardwood flooring throughout, and updating electrical and trim - completed, per the 2020 review, on the agreed schedule. Other reviews describe smaller work: installing bathroom fixtures and mirrors, and assembling an entry system and furniture.

The Better Business Bureau gives the company an A+ rating, though it is not BBB accredited; the BBB profile lists 8 years in business, while the company's own website states 20 years - the two sources disagree on how long it's been operating. For a renovation on the North Shore, the small record on file describes careful, detail-oriented work on both big remodels and smaller jobs.

**Strengths:**
- Consistent record - all five reviews on file since 2018 are five stars
- Full gut renovations - one review cites a kitchen and bath to the studs

**Where sources disagree:**
- Years in business: the company's website says 20 years, while its BBB profile lists 8 years
