## The honest read

Tom Fence says it has been building fences since 1974, offering residential, commercial and security fences in wood, aluminum, steel, chain link and vinyl.

A 2025 customer wrote that the job stayed under the quote and everything was cleaned up afterward. A 2025 reviewer described fast, neat work and praised dealing with Essie. A 2024 customer said Esse's site review was spot on for building on steep terrain, and that Ben, Shawn and James constructed the fencing and gate on site.

In a 2018 review, a customer who had a privacy fence put up along a busy road said the crew came in March to add panels, reset a few posts that had settled and filled in some mucky areas. That 2018 customer said the estimate they were given was the final amount. A 2018 customer wrote that Essie and his gang handled an installation on an island and built a deer fence. A 2018 reviewer who had dealt with the company for twenty years said it had put in split rail, stockade and picket fencing.

The company holds an A+ grade with the Better Business Bureau.
