Last 6 months: 0 reviews, 0 negative. ## The honest read The house had exactly one bathroom, and it had to be gutted to the studs. In a September 2024 review those homeowners wrote that Tyler Tranni gave them a good price, steered them on materials, and that the shower tile came out beautiful. That is the job Tranni Home Remodeling gets called for more than any other — a bathroom stripped to the framing and put back together. The company works out of North Billerica and is run by its owner, Tyler Tranni, who the site says started on small kitchen and bath jobs before building it into a full-service remodeling business. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active, and its BBB page carries an A+ grade. On Google, 40 ratings average 5★, and customers keep coming back to the same three things: the crew turns up every day, the site gets cleaned before they leave, and the money is spelled out before the work starts. A homeowner whose kitchen was renovated in October 2025 wrote that the crew kept costs and timelines transparent from start to finish. Others describe hiring him again: one customer had Tyler tile a mudroom entry, replace a mold-damaged bathroom ceiling and build shelving over the washer and dryer across 2023 and 2024, and another wrote in 2024 that he came back years after installing a front door to make a small repair on short notice. The work runs wider than bathrooms. Reviews from 2024 and 2025 describe kitchens gutted and rebuilt, countertops replaced, a side entrance widened for a new exterior and storm door, an office built out in a new house, a laundry and mudroom renovation, a stove vented out of a house that kept filling with smoke, and a garage and foundation rebuilt after the property flooded twice. A few things are worth settling before you sign. How long the company has been at this depends on where you look: the website claims over a decade of hands-on experience, its LinkedIn page says 2019, and BBB records the business as starting in February 2022 with a single employee. Much of the trade work also reaches the job through subcontractors — a customer whose tub and shower went in over a couple of months in 2025 gave particular credit to the painting sub who came in behind them. Material costs are moving as well: Tyler Tranni told a trade magazine in October 2025 that quartz-type surfaces his company once quoted at $65 to $75 a square foot installed now run $95 to $110. For a bathroom or kitchen rebuild where one person coordinates the trades, Tranni is a straightforward call — ask which subcontractors will be on your job, get the material allowance written into the estimate, and agree the schedule before demolition starts. **Strengths:** - Bathroom gut-renovations — repeated Google praise for tile work and finishes - Repeat customers — several hired Tyler for multiple projects across years - Clean job sites — reviewers describe daily cleanup and organized crews - Upfront pricing — costs and timelines spelled out before work began - Active state registration — Massachusetts home improvement contractor licence verified active **Concerns:** - Tenure differs by source — website, LinkedIn and BBB give three start dates - Subcontracted trades — reviewers credit subs for painting and finish work **Where sources disagree:** - Start date: the company's website claims over a decade of hands-on experience and its LinkedIn page says 2019, while BBB records the business as incorporated 2/23/2022. ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration #208917 is active on the state registry, held by Tranni Home Remodeling, LLC _(confidence: high)_ - [State License Registry](https://contractorhub.mass.gov/s/hic-contractor-search) — “MA hic license 208917 registry-verified active — registry holder of record: Tranni Home Remodeling, LLC” - Owner-run out of North Billerica by Tyler Tranni, who the company says grew it from small kitchen and bath jobs into full-house remodeling _(confidence: high)_ - [Official Website](https://trannihomeremodeling.com) — “Company history (self-reported): Founded and led by Tyler Tranni; the site says it started with small kitchen and bathroom projects and late…” - [Official Website](https://trannihomeremodeling.com) — “Ownership (self-reported): Owner/President - Tyler Tranni” - [Official Website](https://trannihomeremodeling.com) — “A North Billerica, MA remodeling contractor offering kitchen, bathroom and whole-home renovation, additions, basement finishing, decks and c…” - [Official Website](https://trannihomeremodeling.com) — “Company history (self-reported): Founded and led by Tyler Tranni; the site says the company began with small kitchen and bath projects and g…” - A 5-star average across 40 Google ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Tranni%20Home%20Remodeling&query_place_id=ChIJZYylVyyhJGYRtjQ_TvM47bk) — “Google: 5★ from 40 ratings” - Gut bathroom renovations are the most-described job, from a walk-in shower built for an elderly parent to a tub-and-shower rebuild and a full gut to the studs _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2xSSlJraGpWa3QwYjJSc1QyOVpjR0pQYTFrM1YxRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xb9ed38f34e3f34b6!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOlRJRkhjVkt0b2RsT29ZcGJPa1k3V1E%7C%7C?hl=en) — “5★ The bathroom tub and shower redo was done over a couple of months.
