Tree Tactics is a tree company that says it was founded by Daniel Severino, who teamed up with Michael Severino. Its Google page shows 5 stars from 34 ratings. A recent customer said Dan Severino's team was booked two to three weeks out and arrived as scheduled despite earlier bad weather, then did tree pruning, tree removal and bush trimming and shaping. That customer said the debris was cleaned up, the worksite was blown clean, and the price was reasonable for the quality. A recent customer with a large number of trees in the yard said they explained what they planned to do to each tree to keep it healthy and safe. Cats stuck in trees are part of the job too. A recent customer in Chester found Tree Tactics on catinatreerescue.com after a cat climbed high into a cedar tree; the customer said they arrived that same afternoon, their climber, Andrew, got the cat down safely, and the rescue fee was reasonable. A 2023 customer thanked Dan Severino for rescuing their cat from a tree on Easter Day. A 2025 customer said Dan was an arborist who didn't try to get them to cut trees down unnecessarily. In a 2023 review, a customer whose damaged trees seemed headed for removal said Dan and his crew saved them in a cost-effective manner. A 2023 customer said Dan proposed only what was necessary and that they were contacted the next day to confirm they were happy with the work. A 2025 customer said Dan and his crew laid out realistic options, arrived on time and cleaned up better than when they arrived. A 2025 customer with a few large trees close to the house said the team was transparent about pricing with no hidden fees. A 2023 customer described tree work and stump removal in the yard and said the place looked wonderful. **Strengths:** - Tree removal — a recent customer said seven trees came out in two days - Saving damaged trees — a 2023 customer said Dan and his crew saved them - A cat rescue — a recent Chester customer said they came the same afternoon - Clear pricing — a 2025 customer said there were no hidden fees - A clean worksite — a recent customer said the area was blown clean ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - 5 stars from 34 ratings on Google _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Tree%20Tactics%20LLC&query_place_id=ChIJA-V7_pEv5okRRryVlvsKfco) — “Google: 5★ from 34 ratings” - The company says it was founded by Daniel Severino, who teamed up with Michael Severino _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](http://www.treetactics.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): Tree Tactics was founded by Daniel Severino, a Connecticut Licensed Arborist, Climbing Specialist and Certi…” - A recent customer said seven trees were removed in two days and the yard was left cleaner than before _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT25Oa1h6aEhPRll6WWxZNVQwVkdTeTFNYlcxa09IYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xca7d0afb9695bc46!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOnNkXzhHOFYzYlY5T0VGSy1MbW1kOHc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ What can I say about this awesome company…… I can’t say enough about how truly amazing they all were.
