Turgeon's Hardwood Flooring describes itself as a local company with over 24 years of flooring experience that travels all over Vermont and upstate New York to job sites for commercial and residential customers. A recent customer who hired them for a second refinish said they came when scheduled and the house was spotless when they left. A recent customer said the whole house was done in 2-3 days before curing time, and that they also repaired a rotten floorboard and refinished butcher block counters. A 2025 customer said they installed maple hardwood flooring on the first and second floors and converted carpeted stairs into a maple hardwood staircase. A 2025 reviewer wrote that they evened out cupped floors and applied 3 coats of finish, taking all their trash with them at the end of the job. A 2023 customer said they switched from a water based to an oil based finish on the company's recommendation, and that afterward the dust needed just a regular dusting. A 2025 customer said a finish did not come out quite right and they stood by their work to make it right. A 2025 Google reviewer gave one star and wrote "Rude". Its BBB grade is A+, and BBB lists it as accredited. **Strengths:** - Spot refinishing — a recent customer said just the worn patch was sanded - A spotless house — a recent repeat customer said it was spotless afterward - Maple installs — a 2025 customer described maple floors and a converted staircase **Concerns:** - A one-word complaint — a 2025 one-star Google reviewer wrote rude ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Describes itself as a local company with over 24 years of flooring experience serving Vermont and upstate New York _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](http://turgeonshardwoodflooring.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): We are Turgeon’s Hardwood Flooring, a local company with over 24 years of flooring experience.
