## The honest read

Twin Electric is an electrical contractor in Milford, CT, with a 4.9-star average across 37 Google ratings. A recent customer had it install an EcoFlow generator and upgrade the house to 200A service, and calls the price fair and the service timely.

A recent customer says John and Mike called and texted back quickly, showed up exactly when they said they would, and fixed what was needed. A customer writing in 2026 said they had worked with John and Mike for the past 10 years, on new construction and existing homes.

In a 2025 review, a customer who met with 5 electricians about a 240v outlet in the garage said John and his team installed a sub panel, moved over wiring from the main and concealed the new wiring for the 240v. A 2025 customer with circuit breakers tripping at a multi-family home said John came out the next day, prioritized what needed immediate attention versus repairs that could wait, and provided a detailed quote. A 2025 customer said John's team changed old track lighting and recessed lighting in a family room to LED fixtures and dimmers with no disruption to the existing sheetrock. A 2025 customer who needed 30-amp service lines for a new laundry area said John came over to estimate the job in 24 hours and performed the work 2 days later.

In 2024, a customer whose house had a tree fall on it, ripping a large chunk of the electrical from the side, said Twin Electric was the only one of 5 electricians called that day to get back to them, and was at the house at 8 am the day after the insurance approval.

A recent customer says the company came out on a Friday to review their needs and was supposed to provide a quote the following Monday; the quote never came, and a follow-up email went unanswered.

**Strengths:**
- Generator install — a recent customer paired it with a 200A service upgrade
- A quick callback — a recent customer says John and Mike responded fast
- A garage subpanel — a 2025 customer said the new wiring was concealed
- Tree-damage repair — a 2024 customer said they came after insurance approval

**Concerns:**
- A missed quote — a recent customer says a promised quote never arrived
