Last 6 months: 9 reviews, 0 negative. ## The honest read An eight-month total interior renovation, down to the studs in every room, with a daily text update from Daniel: that is the June 2026 job one Google reviewer describes from Twin Oaks Home Improvement. The Wilton, Connecticut company says it has more than two decades of experience. Google shows 5 stars from 60 ratings; HomeAdvisor and Angi each show 4.6 from 150. Two reviewers, in October 2026 and August 2024, name Danny as the owner. In the October 2026 review, a customer says Twin Oaks remodeled two half baths and gutted and rebuilt a mudroom and pantry, with a quote and agreement within a day and Danny or his son on site daily. A June 2026 reviewer says the crew stripped a peeling exterior, replaced trim, door saddles and some siding, and left the site clean every evening. In a May 2026 review, the team matched a house's original paint color and made replacement decorative supports for the bay windows by hand. A July 2026 customer had kitchen cabinets prepped, primed and painted. A November 2025 reviewer describes reproduction trim and painting at the front of a church. In a July 2025 review, the owner of an old house and barn says the crew found wood rot and old insulation and discussed options each time. Older accounts carry complaints. In a September 2019 Angi review, a customer says they paid $299 for eight hours of painting and the painters never showed up. A 2017 Angi reviewer says a quoted price rose from two hundred to eight hundred and that bags of trash were left behind. A September 2017 Angi reviewer says a worker who came back smelled like alcohol on several occasions. In a July 2017 Angi review, front doors that were hung did not close well and calls went unreturned.
