On its website the company lists a service area that includes Rocky Hill, Hartford, Middletown, Meriden, New Haven and Manchester, and says it has been in business 40 years. It holds a 4.5-star Google average from 697 ratings and a B+ on its BBB page. A recent customer said Perry, Dawson and Mitchell moved the customer's older parents, encouraged them to sit back and relax, and that everything was carefully wrapped, packed and protected. A recent customer who chose another company said Colby became rude on a follow-up call and hung up. A 2024 customer wrote that a brand-new Makita impact drill "was stolen that day by one of them" and that the office was not interested in hearing about it.
