## The honest read

Ultra Clean Air is called in to clean air ducts. A recent customer said Gary and team cleaned all of their ducts and helped them order new vents that needed to be replaced. A recent customer said Gary and his team cleaned air ducts that had not been cleaned in maybe a decade, and assisted with ozone treatment for odor from a mouse that died in the kitchen.

The company describes itself as 20 years in business. A 2025 customer said a crew of 4 explained what they were doing, removed mold in the attic and cleaned all the ducts in the house. A 2025 customer who named Ultra Clean Air in Milford said the company cleaned and sanitized their HVAC ducts.

A recent customer said a visit took less than 10 minutes and the price was too high for such a quick visit. A recent customer who had just moved into a condo said the technicians were there for two hours, nothing was explained, and the emailed bill was so high; that customer also said they did a good job and left minimal mess. A recent customer was not happy about the dryer vent being changed from metal to the flexible tube type.

A 2025 customer said their dryer still was not working properly after a dryer vent cleaning, that a technician concluded the vent was still clogged, and that Gary, the owner, hung up on them. A 2025 customer wrote that 10 minutes of work to clean a dryer vent cost $225.00.

**Strengths:**
- Whole-house duct cleaning — a recent customer said all of their ducts were cleaned
- Ozone odor treatment — a recent customer said they helped with a mouse odor
- Attic mold removal — a 2025 customer said a crew of 4 removed it

**Concerns:**
- A pricey short visit — a recent customer said under 10 minutes cost too much
- Little explanation — a recent customer said nothing was explained before the bill
- Dryer vent cleaning — a 2025 customer said the vent was still clogged
