Its website lists furnace repair, furnace replacement and installation, furnace tune-ups, and heat pump repair, replacement, installation and tune-ups, and it reports 10 years in business. It holds an A+ grade from the Better Business Bureau. A 2026 review describes a new heat pump installed with the owner, Ross, communicative and helpful throughout the process, and says the new system is running perfectly. In another 2026 review, the mini split in a toddler's room of a newly renovated house was not working properly, and Ross made sure there was a new unit in time for a 3 day 100 degree heat wave. A 2026 review says Eric the technician had the central air up and running within an hour. Eric also did the annual maintenance of a mini-split system in a 2026 review and explained every step of the process. When a 2026 review asked for a second opinion on a shocking quote from another company, Ross called back within 10 minutes and a technician came out the very next day, resulting in a very different quote. In a 2025 review, Kevin changed over the zone valves so each thermostat connects to a four zone controller, and the job area was left cleaner than he found it. A 2025 review of a whole house heat pump installation says it was a MassSave project and they handle the rebate too. A major 2025 project replaced the existing heating system with a dual natural gas heat pump system and added another in the attic, which required adding ducts. In a 2025 review, they diagnosed an unexpected leak causing issues with the central air, found the leak and refilled the condenser. In a 2024 review, Ross and his team replaced an on demand system that was 15 years old with a basic burner and holding tank, and Kevin, Zac and Choy got the job done in one day. A 2024 review says Ross consulted on a Methuen, MA home, helping design a system that would qualify for the MassSave All Electric Home Incentive; his company was too far away to perform the install. **Strengths:** - Heat pump installs — a new heat pump running perfectly, per a 2026 review - Fast AC repair — central air running again within an hour in 2026 - Rebate handling — MassSave rebate handled on a 2025 heat pump job - Zone valve work — Kevin left the 2025 job area cleaner than found ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - The business's website lists furnace and heat pump repair, replacement, installation and tune-ups _(confidence: high)_ - [Official Website](https://urbanheatingac.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): Heating Furnace Repair Furnace Replacement & Installation Furnace Tune-Up Heat Pumps Heat Pump Repair Heat …” - Self-reported 10 years in business _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://urbanheatingac.com) — “Self-reported 10 years in business” - Better Business Bureau grade: A+ _(confidence: high)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ma/carver/profile/heating-and-air-conditioning/urban-heating-and-ac-llc-0021-439040) — “Better Business Bureau grade: A+” - Installed a new heat pump that is running perfectly, per a 2026 review _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT25oUmNsQkxYM2QxZW1sTlFtaHhhR3RzUXpWYU9VRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xfedfd7fc84c4762d!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOnhRclBLX3d1emlNQmhxaGtsQzVaOUE%7C%7C?hl=en) — “5★ I recently had a new heat pump installed by Urban Heating & AC, and the experience was fantastic.
