## The honest read

Vast Painting LLC is a painting business in Ashland, MA.

In a 2023 Google review, Victor painted the whole interior of a house, about 1000 square feet: six rooms, including a bathroom and a kitchen, walls and trim. That review says he repaired every crack and flaw in the walls along the way, came back a few days after the job to touch up minor issues, replaced the hardware (hinges, switches) and added door stops to every door. In his words, "If you don't repair things while you're painting, you're just changing colors." The same review says he was flexible on the estimate when it came back too high, and the estimate was exactly what was paid.

In another 2023 Google review, Vast repainted a daycare and preschool, planning the work around their time constraints and working predominantly after hours so there were no interruptions to operations.

A 2022 Google review says Victor repainted a home and the rooms looked much brighter and vibrant. In a 2022 review, painting and other odd jobs were done in a short time frame at a very reasonable price.

On Thumbtack, the business lists interior and exterior painting, cabinet painting, drywall installation, wallpaper removal, deck staining and fence painting among its services.

**Strengths:**
- Interior repaint — six rooms, walls and trim, in a 2023 job
- Estimate held — final cost matched the estimate, per a 2023 review
- After-hours work — daycare repainted mostly after hours in 2023
