Last 6 months: 25 reviews, 1 negative. ## The honest read An entire house done in LVP, up and down, in a day and a half: that is how an October 2026 Google reviewer described VRP Flooring, a Danbury flooring contractor working Danbury, Ridgefield, Bethel, Brookfield and Newtown. Speed and price carry the praise. It holds 4.5 stars from 322 Google ratings and 4.7 from 409 on Angi, and the company describes itself as locally owned and operated. The jobs customers describe are specific. An August 2026 reviewer needed the floors done before the painters arrived and had very old wood floors refinished in 3 days. A June 2026 customer had hardwood refinished between closing on a home and moving in, with photo updates along the way. In a February 2026 review, new hardwood and stair treads were matched to red oak flooring. A May 2025 reviewer described old tile and carpet removed, a water-damaged section of bathroom subfloor rebuilt and an uneven area leveled before the LVP went in. In a 2024 review, a crew removed structolite under a kitchen with the cabinets in place and stayed until 11pm to finish the hardwood. Its Connecticut HIC license, HIC.0650075, is active on the state registry. Its BBB grade is A+. The complaints are about follow-through. In an October 2026 Google review, a customer accepted a quote and never received the contract despite following up; an August 2026 reviewer said an estimate went quiet after the floor material was confirmed, and an October 2025 reviewer waited a week for a proposal promised the same day. Finish work draws complaints too: a July 2026 reviewer said the stairs were left rough and the bullnose molding later fitted so that it squeaks, a September 2026 reviewer noted missing molding and missed polyurethane on the stairs, and a May 2026 reviewer said a promised next-day fix was rescheduled three times over a month. In an August 2025 review, a customer said LVP planks buckled the day after installation and, a couple of years later, were cracking, with a scheduled inspection missed. A January 2025 reviewer said a sand-and-poly job ran a week long and the floors were scratched two weeks later. **Strengths:** - Fast turnarounds — a whole house in LVP in a day and a half - Refinishing old wood — 2026 reviews describe refinished floors on tight timelines - Subfloor prep — a 2025 job included a rebuilt water-damaged section **Concerns:** - Quotes not delivered — 2025 and 2026 reviewers waited on proposals - Stair finish work — 2026 reviews cite rough stairs and missed molding - Plank durability — a 2025 review says LVP buckled, then cracked ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - 4.5 stars from 322 Google ratings; 4.7 from 409 on Angi; 4.5 from 213 on Thumbtack _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=VRP%20Flooring%20LLC&query_place_id=ChIJF0M6MiL_54kRtlMxIGhSlhM) — “Google: 4.5★ from 322 ratings” - [Angi](https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ct/danbury/vrp-flooring-llc-reviews-1.htm) — “Angi: 4.7★ from 409 ratings” - [Thumbtack](https://www.thumbtack.com/ct/danbury/hardwood-floor-installation/vrp-flooring-llc/service/284778390375957640) — “Thumbtack: 4.5★ from 213 ratings” - Connecticut HIC license HIC.0650075 is active on the state registry _(confidence: high)_ - [State License Registry](https://www.elicense.ct.gov/Lookup/LicenseLookup.aspx) — “CT hic license HIC.0650075 registry-verified active — registry holder of record: VRP FLOORING LLC” - BBB grade A+ _(confidence: high)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ct/danbury/profile/flooring-contractors/vrp-flooring-llc-0111-87127001) — “Better Business Bureau grade: A+” - Serves Danbury, Ridgefield, Bethel, Brookfield and Newtown, by its own account _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://vrpflooringllc.com) — “Stated service area (self-reported): Danbury, Ridgefield, Bethel, Brookfield, Newtown” - An entire house done in LVP in a day and a half, per an October 2026 review _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2tsRFNXRjBSMFJPUTJsd1NUTkJjV3BMVTE5bE1FRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x13965268203153b6!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOklDSWF0R0ROQ2lwSTNBcWpLU19lMEE%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Excellent work, price and Horacio and team were phenomenal....they did my entire house in LVP up and down in a day and a half...I recomme…” - Old wood floors refinished in 3 days ahead of painters, per an August 2026 review _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2s5MVdGZFdjMUp6VkZOTVEzZ3hibnBpUTNKVWJsRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x13965268203153b6!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOk91WFdWc1JzVFNMQ3gxbnpiQ3JUblE%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ We needed our floors done quickly before the painters arrived.
