Its website says it has been in business for 56 years and lists a service area that includes Westfield, Southwick, Agawam, West Springfield and Springfield. After ice dam damage to a kitchen, Wagner installed a new subfloor and glue-down luxury vinyl, and that recent customer says it was their third time using Wagner. On a 3 season porch, Wagner installed a light brown plank floor in place of a worn indoor/outdoor carpet; that customer says the installer, Manny, cleaned the floor before and after the job, and the agent, Greg, kept in contact. A recent customer who replaced the carpets in their house with hardwood flooring says Wagner was not the least expensive of several estimates but gave a very fair price. A recent customer who replaced a smelly old carpet says the company fit them in as quickly as possible and brought only samples that matched what they wanted. A 2025 customer said Greg helped them decide what would work best in their older house and that Ty and Ray installed the floor. **Strengths:** - Kitchen subfloor and vinyl — a recent customer had both installed after ice dam damage - Porch plank floor — a recent customer had worn porch carpet replaced with plank flooring - Fair pricing — recent customers call the price fair - Quick scheduling — a recent customer says they were fit in quickly ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Describes itself as a floor installer for residential and commercial properties _(confidence: medium)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ma/westfield/profile/new-carpet/wagner-rug-flooring-0261-252576) — “About (Better Business Bureau, self-described): Wagner Rug & Flooring specializes in floor installation for both residential and commercial …” - Its website says it has been in business for 56 years _(confidence: low)_ - [Official Website](https://www.wagnerrug.com) — “Self-reported 56 years in business” - Installed a new subfloor and glue-down luxury vinyl in a kitchen after ice dam damage _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://maps.google.com/?cid=7366034492167946511&g_mp=CiVnb29nbGUubWFwcy5wbGFjZXMudjEuUGxhY2VzLkdldFBsYWNlEAIYBCAA) — “5★ Our kitchen suffered ice dam damage, which required new flooring be installed.
