Last 6 months: 5 reviews, 0 negative. ## The honest read One Google customer clocked a garage and breezeway roof by the minute: a six-man crew at the door by 7:25am, work started by 7:30am, and the roof completed by 11am. That customer says Dave came right out with an affordable estimate and no money up front, and that the house stayed dry through a heavy rain with wind shortly after. Wallace Home Improvement does roofing and siding, and its website lists Gray, Scarborough, Cape Elizabeth, Freeport, Brunswick, Windham, Gorham, Standish, Cumberland and Kennebunk as its service area. A recent Google customer had a new asphalt shingle roof, new siding, new gutters and exterior trim upgrades, and says Dave and JP communicated well before and during construction, with both crews cleaning up nails and debris. A recent Google customer had a total roof installation on the house and garage done in one day, with sheeting and tarps laid to keep roof waste off the lawn. A recent Google customer says Dave and his team re-sided the whole house, including new window trim, and replaced some railing. A 2021 HomeAdvisor customer said the scope of the work was explained in detail and followed up with a written contract, and the roofing was completed in one day. A 2021 HomeAdvisor customer said they had used Wallace Home Improvement on over 7 roofs. A 2020 HomeAdvisor customer said the final bill matched the estimate within the contract's parameters and the job was done in less time than estimated. A 2025 HomeAdvisor customer said the job was completed in a day within the agreed time frame, which was needed for insurance purposes, and billed within the quoted amount. **Strengths:** - A one-day roof — a recent customer said work ran from 7:30am to 11am - A written contract — a 2021 customer said scope was detailed, then put in writing - Bill matched estimate — a 2020 customer said it stayed within contract parameters - A clean site — a recent customer said both crews cleaned up nails and debris ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - A recent customer said a six-man crew started at 7:30am and completed a garage and breezeway roof by 11am _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2tWRFVIUXhNRzlmVXpOVmRXMVVjWFJYWjNkWGJYYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x749e95ef03b87df7!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOkVDUHQxMG9fUzNVdW1UcXRXZ3dXbXc%7C%7C?hl=en) — “5★ I contacted Wallace Roofing and siding about placing a new roof on my garage and breezeway.
